Released in 2001, The Nismo R1 engine was released which gained ease of handling on the street by improving torque in the middle and low rpm range, port casting surface polishing & port correction processing by skilled mechanics, weight adjustment of piston connecting rod, crank & pulley integrated balancing, etc. The R1 was created with overwhelming power and high durability by combining ultra-precision work and high-performance parts.
In 2011, the R2 was developed as a normal evolution model of the R1 with the aim of improving medium-speed torque and accelerator response while maintaining high performance and durability reliability.
And in 2021, by newly adopting "R3 turbo kit" and "R35 genuine air flow meter", the peak performance of R2 is maintained, and the ease of handling on the street by improving the torque in the middle and low rev range is obtained. The R3, which has improved the torque shortage at medium and low rpm without changing the displacement, is recommended for customers who want to enjoy further evolution while retaining the original performance of the RB26. |
