| The Z1 engine is a 2771cc (2.8L) approx 600ps engine that was used in the following cars: - Nismo Z-Tune Prototype. This engine was first fitted in November 2000. In November 2001, it was replaced with a Z2 engine. - 2001 Falken 24 Hour Nurburgring R34 GT-R. Detuned to approx 500ps / 7200rpm, 55kg-m / 5200rpm. - 2002 Falken 24 Hour Nurburgring R34 GT-R. Detuned to approx 500ps / 7200rpm, 55kg-m / 5200rpm. - 2003 Falken 24 Hour Nurburgring R34 GT-R. Detuned to approx 500ps / 7200rpm, 55kg-m / 5200rpm. In 2004 the engine was changed to the Z2.
