Nissan Skyline R32 Production Colours

Code Name Paint Formula and Description
301 Light Red
301 is the colour code for a light red that has only appeared on 6 BNR32 GT-R Series 1 models. Due to this being possibly a once off custom colour, no record exists of a formula. If you happen to have one of these GT-Rs, the best way to find out which colour is the closest to it is to visit a local paint shop that specialises with spectrophotometer technology.

326 Crystal White
HOW TO MAKE CRYSTAL WHITE (326)

Glasurit 22 Line 2K 1L Formula:

22-M0: 196.6g
22-M60: 969.2g
22-A105: 60.7g
22-A131: 22.9g
22-A126: 20.8g

326, the colour code for Crystal White, is a very bright white used on lots of R32s and is readily used up to this day! To make the colour in Glasurit 2K paint, first some clear mixing binder is poured in to hold all of the pigments together, and a lot of high strength white to start the white base. Next, some reduced ochre is added in to slightly dirty and yellow up the colour, with some reduced blue to push the colour closer to a green tone. Finally, a small amount of reduced black is thrown in to darken up the colour slightly, and all of that stirred together creates Crystal White! There exists 14+ variants out of the OEM factory compared to the Standard version. If you want to know exactly which version of 326 is yours, visit a local paint shop that specialises with spectrophotometer technology!

691 White#625
/Black#505

691, a two tone colour code, is found only on the HR32 GTS Urban Road Series 1, consisting of a solid white (625) and a solid black (505). It is presumed that the white is the upper tone and the black is the lower tone according to the order of the true colour codes listed, but without image references or additional information, it’s unfortunately unknown.

HOW TO MAKE WHITE (625)

Glasurit 22 Line 2K 1L Formula:

22-M0: 196.6g
22-M60: 1038.9g
22-A105: 51.3g
22-A126: 3.1g

625, the colour code for White, is a solid white with a yellow tone to it, which can be described as a creamy white. It was used on various vehicles from the late 80’s all the way to 1998 and was even used on a line of HR32s! To make this colour in Glasurit 2K paint, first some mixing clear binder is needed to hold the tinters, then a huge amount of high strength white is added in to begin the white base. Then, some reduced ochre is added in to give it that creamy white look, with a pinch of reduced black to very slightly darken and dirty the white. Mix that all together and you get the 625 White!

HOW TO MAKE BLACK (505)

Glasurit 22 Line 2K 1L Formula:

22-1250: 995.0g

Glasurit 55 Line Solvent 1L Formula:

55-1250: 920.0g

505, the colour code for Black, is a very deep black solid colour, being amongst the darkest of blacks straight out of OEM factories, with the colour code being used from 1978 all the way to 1994. 505 only requires 1 black tint in Glasurit 2K and solvent paint, which has been specifically formulated and made to replicate the deepest of OEM blacks available on the market. You will never find any automotive black that is both darker and UV stable compared to 505 and many other car colours like 505 (such as KH3 for example)!

732 Black Pearl Metallic
HOW TO MAKE BLACK PEARL METALLIC (732)

Glasurit 55 Line Solvent 1L Formula:

352-91: 173.5g
55-M99/19: 3.1g
55-M010: 2.5g
55-A974: 337.1g
55-A929: 305.1g
55-M1: 85.3g
55-A136: 7.0g
55-A556: 4.6g

90-A329: 13.9g
90-A032: 11.9g
90-A350: 0.9g
90-M1: 10.0g

DH0, the colour code for Dark Green Metallic, is a really fine metallic, being shiny green in the sun and dark green on the flip! This colour was thought to be used on all generation R32s excluding the BNR32s, but a rare discovery of a BNR32 painted with DH0 from the factory makes it an all model colour (only 1 BNR32 is known to be painted in it)! This paint formula is a water based one, a lot more eco friendly for the environment! To make DH0 in Glasurit waterborne paint, first a lot of mixing clear is poured into a plastic container due to water based tinters being thicker/heavier and much more concentrated! The plastic container helps stop the paint from reacting adversely and allows for leftovers to be easily storable! Next, some fine aluminium silver and medium aluminium silver are added in, both giving off a clean look in the sunshine! Next, a lot of black is added in to establish a dark colour base, with some bluish green added afterwards to establish the green tone of the colour! After that, a blue with a red tone flip is added in for a more bluer tone, and reddish gold is poured in afterwards to give the colour a much redder tone. Closer to completion, a reduced white is added in to lighten up the colour slightly and a pinch of dark red is added in for colour correction. Finally, the M1 flop additive helps adjust the silvers to appear darker on the flip but lighter on the face! Stirring all of that together with a plastic mixing stick gets you DH0! A Darker variant of the colour exists out of the OEM factory compared to the Standard version. If you want to know which version is yours, visit a local paint shop that specialises with spectrophotometer technology!

Next, some iron yellow is added to give the colour quite a yellow tone. Next, some M1 additive is put in to make the metallic shine even brighter in the sun, but darkening the flip at the same time, with a small amount of jet black added in to darken the colour slightly. Next, a tiny amount of a greenish blue is added in, only just enough to cause the iron yellow to shift much closer to a green look! And finally, a blue black is added in to darken the colour a touch more, with the blue tone of the black also helping make the colour slightly greener!
